About the role

We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, more reliable AI systems — and we need electrical engineers to help us get there. As an AI Data Trainer, you'll use your domain expertise to challenge, evaluate, and refine advanced AI models on complex engineering problems. Your work will directly shape how AI thinks about circuits, signals, power systems, and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Design Challenging Problems — Craft advanced electrical engineering problems across domains including circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, control systems, and electromagnetics to rigorously test AI performance
  • Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Develop precise, step-by-step technical solutions and "golden responses" that serve as benchmarks for AI learning
  • Audit Technical Accuracy — Evaluate AI-generated code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for correctness, safety, and adherence to engineering standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC)
  • Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical gaps and errors in AI reasoning, then provide structured, actionable feedback to improve how models approach engineering tasks
  • Document Failure Modes — Record and categorize model weaknesses across embedded systems, signal processing, robotics, and engineering simulations

Requirements

  • Holds or is pursuing a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Strong foundational knowledge in one or more core EE domains: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, or signal processing
  • Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely in writing
  • High attention to detail — comfortable working with mathematical equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation
  • Self-motivated and reliable in an independent, asynchronous work environment
  • No prior AI experience required

Qualifications

  • Nice to Have: Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
  • Familiarity with AI or machine learning workflows
  • Background in academic research or technical writing

Benefits

  • Full-time equivalent pay rate based on experience and qualifications
  • Flexible schedule to fit around your existing commitments
  • Remote work option
