About the Role
We're looking for experienced electrical engineers to help train and improve cutting-edge AI models. Your deep domain knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex engineering problems — from circuit analysis to power systems to signal processing.
What You'll Do
- Design Challenging Problems — Craft advanced electrical engineering problems across domains like circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, signal processing, and control systems to stress-test AI reasoning
- Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI model training
- Audit Technical Accuracy — Evaluate AI-generated code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for correctness, safety, and adherence to standards such as IEEE and NEC
- Improve AI Reasoning — Identify logical errors and gaps in AI-generated responses, then provide structured feedback to improve model performance on engineering tasks
- Document Failure Modes — Systematically record how and where AI models fall short so researchers can address weaknesses
Who You Are
- Holds or is pursuing a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Strong foundational knowledge in one or more core areas: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, embedded systems, or signal processing
- Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and precisely in written form
- Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation
- Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on your own schedule
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, technical writing, or content quality review
- Familiarity with AI evaluation workflows or language model outputs
- Background in multiple electrical engineering subfields
Why Join Us
- Work on some of the most advanced AI projects in the world alongside leading research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — you set your own hours
- Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and collaboration with a global expert community
- Make a tangible impact on how AI handles real-world engineering problems
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
