About the role

Assists senior engineering staff in executing technical activities on assigned projects while learning discipline-specific policies and procedures. Under supervision, participates in technical studies, investigations, and designs, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with high technical quality.

Responsibilities

  • Learns company technical policies, procedures, and standards during project execution.
  • Assists in executing design processes on assigned projects and seeks guidance from senior staff as needed.
  • Supports the design team in coordinating project designs with other disciplines.
  • Observes and learns execution of engineering studies and design analyses.
  • Accompanies senior staff on on-site inspections during construction, learning how to communicate design requirements with contractors and suppliers.
  • Actively participates in professional organizations to enhance the firm’s technical reputation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to learn design and analysis basics within the discipline and grow within the firm.
  • 0-3 years of experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year undergraduate engineering program.
  • EIT certification obtained or in progress.
