ABNA is seeking an Electrical Engineer for their Midtown St. Louis, MO location. This position requires a self-motivated individual to assist with design and development of lighting, power distribution, communication, instrumentation and controls projects.

ABNA is a multi-disciplinary M/W/DBE firm experiencing growing opportunities for electrical engineering and building services design capabilities for governmental, manufacturing, commercial, and institutional facilities.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience.
• Design power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems.
• Create and review electrical equipment specifications.
• Prepare estimates of probable construction costs.
• Perform electrical engineering studies and calculations.
• Develop schematic drawings, wiring diagrams. MCC single line diagrams, control panel layouts, lighting & powerplan drawings.
• Review Shop drawings and vendor documentation.
• Clearly communicate concepts and ideas with clients and construction personnel.
• Read and interpret P&IDs and General Arrangement Drawings.
• Develop proposals and project hour estimates.
• Assist with sales calls and interviews for projects.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and designers.
