Electrical Engineer - Senior Level

About the role

Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large complex waterfront infrastructure projects and is recognized as one of the worldwide leaders in this field. We are actively looking for a Senior Level Electrical Engineer to join our Seattle or Federal Way office.

Responsibilities

• Working with new technologies and developing industries from microgrids to projects supporting offshore wind ports
• Preparing multiple or complex plans, designs and plan production for general electrical engineering on a wide variety of projects which may include lighting, power, and grounding plans, one-line diagrams, panel and cable schedules, and different project specifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; required
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering; preferred
• Professional Engineer License (PE) in Electrical Engineering; required
• 10+ years of related experience (required) in:
• Medium/low voltage power distribution systems
• Grounding systems
• Lighting systems
• Communications systems
• Electrical equipment design (including switchboards and switchgear)
• Selective coordination and arc flash studies
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit; required
• Proficiency in ETAP or EasyPower and AGI32; preferred
