About the role
This position is located at Lower Granite Project, operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers and situated on the Snake River, 32-river miles downstream from Clarkston, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Conduct reliability assessments and develop compliance strategies for electrical systems.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Oversee the implementation of corrective actions to mitigate risks and improve system performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project staff regarding electrical engineering principles and practices.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on reliability and compliance.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations applicable to water resources projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience with project management tools and software.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Proficiency in electrical engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
