Electrical Engineer (Reliability Compliance)

About the role

This position is located at Lower Granite Project, operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers and situated on the Snake River, 32-river miles downstream from Clarkston, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reliability assessments and develop compliance strategies for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Oversee the implementation of corrective actions to mitigate risks and improve system performance.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project staff regarding electrical engineering principles and practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on reliability and compliance.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations applicable to water resources projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience with project management tools and software.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Proficiency in electrical engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
