Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for air separation plants, liquefaction systems, and gas turbine power generation plants
- Work directly with internal and external customers to determine electrical requirements/needs and wants.
- Assist in the development of drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial type projects.
- Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out.
- Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time.
- Cook with the electrical utility provider for design/engineering to ensure reliable power service to critical site infrastructure.
- Provide support and direction to electricians and technicians during the construction and activation of power distribution equipment.
- Interact with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in the design or build of building infrastructure electrical systems.
Prior to Start
- Ability to pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral.
- Perform hands-on work in all environments (heat, cold, rain), in tight quarters or at heights.
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Remain focused while working in hazardous environments, while wearing appropriate PPE.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs unassisted.

- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
