Job Responsibilities
- Execute OTA (Over-the-Air) validation and wireless performance testing for LTE and 5G NR FR1 devices using industry-standard RF test equipment.
- Translate carrier, regulatory, and industry certification requirements into comprehensive test cases and validation plans.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug RF and wireless performance issues in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Perform antenna characterization, RF measurements, and conformance testing to ensure compliance with certification standards.
- Maintain, calibrate, and optimize OTA test setups and lab environments to support reliable product validation.
- Contribute to wireless technology characterization and performance improvement initiatives for next-generation cellular products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in RF, wireless, or OTA performance validation and testing.
- Hands-on experience with antenna design/testing, OTA validation (TRP/TIS), and RF test equipment such as CMX, UXM, or MT8000A.
- A strong understanding of LTE and 5G NR FR1 technologies, RF component behavior, and wireless certification standards (CTIA, 3GPP).
Pay
Rate Range: $79/hour to $89/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
