About the role
SRC, Inc. is seeking summer 2027 Electrical Engineering interns for our Dayton, OH or Syracuse, NY locations to support software development, model production and internal R&D work within our electronic warfare (EW) and services business area. Interns will contribute to the design, development, and test of advanced EW systems and applications, and we can accommodate team members with varying technical backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and model radar systems
- Develop algorithms for RF signal analysis, systems optimization, signal recognition, and more
- Verify and validate software system functionality and performance
- Apply User Experience fundamentals to assess software applications
Requirements
- One or more years of college with a degree focused in electrical engineering
- Minimum grade point average of 3.3
- Most recent transcripts required with application (unofficial transcripts are acceptable)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Skills
- Experience with Python or MATLAB
- Experience using a model‑based system engineering (MBSE) tool such as Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or similar
- Coursework and/or experience with signal processing, programming, electromagnetics, digital logic or radio frequency design

Pay
The anticipated hourly rate for this position (Syracuse, NY or Dayton, OH) is estimated at $22.00–$26.00 per hour. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and business needs.
Schedule
Interns must be able to work up to 40 hours per week.
