Electrical Engineer – Industrial Automation & Controls

Role Overview

Works on electrical problems of moderate scope while receiving general guidance from senior professionals. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Supports continuous improvement and automation activities across the facility. Works with medium voltage systems and machine control systems, including PLCs and Servo systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, remote I/O, HMIs, and associated Rockwell software.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs.
• Experience with industrial Ethernet communication and machine network layout and design.
• Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage capital and expense budgets to meet plant objectives.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and industrial automation is required.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with knowledge of production and maintenance processes, is preferred.
