KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and review electrical system designs, layouts, and single-line diagrams.
  • Perform load calculations, fault current analysis, and circuit sizing in compliance with NEC and local codes.
  • Aid with project estimating, submittal preparation, and design-build proposals.
  • Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, and other trades to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Review shop drawings, product data, and RFIs for technical accuracy.
  • Participate in site visits to verify installation accuracy and troubleshoot field issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design, construction, or engineering (preferred) (Multifamily/commercial/industrial preferred).
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical distribution systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • PE license in Washington (or ability to obtain) preferred but not required.
