Responsibilities
- Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities
- Champions the integration of advanced technologies including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costs
- Implements robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliability
- Provides technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for both new construction and upgrades to existing facilities
- Manages complex engineering projects from concept to completion ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budget constraints
- Ensures compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across electrical systems and project execution
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet internal and external customer needs
- Mentors and supports the development of junior engineers fostering technical growth, knowledge sharing, and a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)
Qualifications
- Senior: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited college or university in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and eight (8) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry
- Preferred: PE License
- Preferred: Master’s degree in electrical engineering
- III: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited college or university in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and eight (4) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry
- Preferred: PE License
- Preferred: Master’s degree in electrical engineering
Skills
- Understanding of power system design, analysis, and simulation (e.g., ETAP, MATLAB, PSCAD, Simulink or similar tools)
- Knowledge of high-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, and switchgear
- Understanding of grid integration and renewable energy systems

Pay
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position will be based in Pittsburgh, PA for approximately the first two (2) years. Following this initial period and pending project status, the role is expected to relocate to either Tulsa, OK or Houston, TX based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to relocate as part of the role.
