Electrical Engineer III/IV

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test electrical systems and components for UAS platforms
• Develop and debug microcontroller systems and circuits
• Work with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems into UAS platforms
• Develop and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation for electrical systems in UAS platforms
• Act as the Avionics liaison between engineering and the production line
• Address and close out non-conformances from the production line
• Develop and perform electrical tests and test procedures to verify system functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical systems

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting circuits in UAS platforms
• Proficiency in Altium for circuit board / harness design
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuits, power supplies, and CAN bus communication
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Pay

Pay Range by level for San Luis Obispo, CA - Level III - $130,000 - $155,000
Level IV - $155,000 - $199,000
Pay range for this role: $130,000 USD - $199,000 USD
