About the role
Nomad Global Communication Solutions (Nomad GCS) is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to join our Innovative Solutions Group. This role requires being a US citizen and meeting all Federal Contractor employee requirements. Nomad GCS does not support the H1B visa for this position.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD documentation.
- Support manufacturing by answering technical questions, resolving build issues, and improving design clarity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Mechanical Engineering, IT Integration, Human Factor Engineering, Software Engineering, Production, Quality, and Project Management teams.
- Apply continuous improvement principles to improve product quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Uphold and model Nomad Core Values in all work.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must meet all Federal Contractor employee requirements.
- Must not require sponsorship for H1B visa.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 2-5 years of electrical engineering experience.
- Experience with SolidWorks Electrical or similar software.
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting and moving up to 20 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
- Occasional climbing or hands-on testing activities.
- Ability to work in office, shop, and vehicle environments.
- Ability to work safely around energized systems when required.
- Must be able to travel as needed.
Qualifications
- Foundational understanding of electrical theory, documentation, and standards.
- Strong working knowledge of AC/DC systems, codes, and manufacturing support.
- System-level expertise and troubleshooting mastery.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
