On-siteEngineeringFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We must not repeat job title as heading. Must not include Job ID etc. Must preserve all substantive info, not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, duplicated lines, application instructions. Must not include sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". Must not create Pay/Schedule/Benefits unless posting actually states them. The posting includes salary range: "The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD." So Pay section is appropriate. Benefits: there is a "What We Offer:" list with many benefits. So Benefits section appropriate. Schedule: The posting mentions "Onsite" and "Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite." So schedule info: Onsite. So we can include Schedule section with that detail. Also "Position Role Type: Onsite". So schedule: Onsite. We need sections: About the role (maybe intro paragraph about role). Responsibilities (What You Will Do). Qualifications (maybe combine Must Have and Preferred? The instruction: Use sections: Qualifications, Skills. Possibly Qualifications for must-have, Skills for preferred? But we can decide. The posting includes "Qualifications You Must Have:" and "Qualifications We Prefer:" plus also "What You Will Learn:" maybe could be under Skills? But we need to preserve all substantive info. We can put "Qualifications" for must-have, "Skills" for preferred and maybe also include "What You Will Learn" as part of Skills or maybe as a separate section? The instruction says we can include sections only when posting has real specific content. We can include sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (maybe for citizenship/security clearance), Qualifications (must-have), Skills (preferred + what you will learn), Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to avoid duplication. Also need to remove boilerplate like EEO, privacy policy, application instructions like "Learn More & Apply Now!", "Start your application today.", etc. Also remove duplicated lines like "At RTX, the world's largest aerospace..." etc maybe keep as About the role? The intro paragraph about RTX and Collins Aerospace is descriptive of company; could be part of About the role. But we need to preserve all substantive info; we can include that as part of About the role paragraph. We must not repeat job title as heading. The job title is "Electrical Engineer". Not to be used as heading. We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings; none present. We must not include cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. So remove lines about RTX is an Equal Opportunity Employer, Privacy Policy and Terms, etc. Also remove duplicated lines like "At Collins, the paths we pave together..." maybe that's fluff but still substantive? It's more marketing; but we can keep as part of About the role? Might be considered boilerplate but it's still part of posting. The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The marketing fluff may be considered not boilerplate but could be kept. However to be safe, we can keep the substantive description of role and responsibilities, qualifications, benefits, pay, schedule. The fluff about "At Collins, the paths we pave together..." maybe not essential but could be considered duplicated? It's not duplicated elsewhere. Might be okay to keep as part of About the role. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. Let's craft sections:

  • Use your excellent written and verbal communication for technical documentation and collaboration.

Requirements

U.S. Person required (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual granted refugee or asylee status). No security clearance required.

But we need to preserve the definition of U.S. Person? The posting includes definition and link. We could keep a short summary: "U.S. Person (as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) – includes U.S. citizens, nationals, permanent residents, refugees, asylees." We can keep that.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Must be U.S. Person – job requires access to ITAR or 600/500-series EAR information or hardware (directly or indirectly) and the company will not seek an export authorization for this role.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and analyzing analog and RF circuits using schematic capture tools and performance simulation tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.

Skills

  • Experience with RTCA/DO-160, DO-254, and FCC/ETSI regulations, and standards for Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware.
  • Experience with environmental testing, including Temperature, RF Emissions, RF Susceptibility, and/or Lightning.
  • Strong foundation in RF/microwave engineering and wireless communication systems.
  • Experience in RF circuit design, including power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, filters, and antennas.
  • Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (e.g., 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.).
  • Proficiency in using RF and microwave simulation tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, AWR, MCST, or similar).
  • Strong familiarity with PCB layout, high-frequency design techniques, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) mitigation.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Experience with design and simulation tools like MATLAB, SPICE, or similar.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware development is a plus.
  • Experience in sustainment engineering, including failure analysis and obsolescence management.
  • Familiarity with 3D antenna design and testing.
  • What You Will Learn: Deeper knowledge in electrical hardware simulation, analysis and design (digital, mixed signal, power, RF). Collins development engineering processes and practices. Aircraft/avionics certification processes.
But note "What You Will Learn:" is more like a learning outcome; we could include as a separate paragraph under Skills or as its own section. Since we already have Skills section, we can incorporate it as a bullet. Alternatively we could make a separate section "Learning Opportunities". But instruction says prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we can include it under Skills. Now Benefits:

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Three weeks of vacation for newly hired employees
  • Generous 401(k) plan that includes employer matching funds and separate employer retirement contribution, including a Lifetime Income Strategy option

We need to ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like EEO, privacy policy, application instructions. We removed lines like "Learn More & Apply Now!", "Start your application today.", "At Collins, the paths we pave together..." maybe we kept some marketing fluff in About the role; we kept the paragraph about RTX and Collins Aerospace; that's okay. We also removed duplicated lines like "As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process..." etc. Check for any leftover boilerplate: The section about "At Collins, the paths we pave together..." we didn't include. Good. We also removed the "Privacy Policy and Terms" line. We also removed the "RTX is an Equal Opportunity Employer..." etc. We also removed the "Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits..." duplicate; we kept benefits list. We also removed the "Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed..." etc. We also removed the "This role is a U.S.-based role..." maybe we could keep as part of Requirements? But we already have US Person requirement; the extra about territories maybe not needed. Could be omitted as it's not essential? It's substantive but maybe we can include in Requirements as a note. However the instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we should keep that info if it's substantive. The posting includes: "This role is a U.S.-based role. If
