Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
- Hardware development experience
- Experience with interconnect design
- Experience in one or more of the following: Creo, Windchill, Zuken, Pspice
- Issue Tracking experience

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program (FBM), a 63-year-old Program with a long-standing history of Mission Success and of a strong partnership with our Navy Customer!

Location: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Cape Canaveral FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
Please note we will not provide relocation services for this position.
What does this role look like?
The new Hardware Engineer will support the LE2 program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).
Use your strong electrical engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM!
Key Activities
You Will Accomplish In This Role
- Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy’s Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program.
- Support the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending.
- Support the development hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
- Support the development of test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers.
To Be Effective In This Role, You Will Need
- Experience in both design and test of electrical hardware
- 1+ years of professional experience for this role
