Responsibilities
- Aid in providing technical advice and guidance for designated Engineering projects and programs at assigned sites.
- Assist in reviewing, investigating, and developing appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering projects.
- Participate on small to medium site construction, expansion, or modification projects.
- Administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment.
- Develop working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations relevant to your area of assignment.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline with no experience required.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of Engineering.
- Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions.
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree or Professional Engineering (PE) Certification.
- Knowledge and experience of power systems engineering including equipment design and specification, installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial power systems.
- Knowledge and experience of power systems studies including load flow, short circuit, coordination, and Arc flash study and Mitigation.
- Knowledge and experience with electrical equipment used in process plants including experience with reading one-line and electric schematics.
- Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, SKM, and Relay software (Enervista, Acselerator Quickset).
- Self-motivated with excellent work ethic.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
What We Offer You
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $75,000-$104,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
Employees who are required to work on-site are eligible for a $750 monthly housing allowance, provided they meet program guidelines.
