Electrical Engineer Field Applications

About the role

Wisconsin Public Service Corp, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Field Applications in their Green Bay, Wisconsin location. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site), with time spent in the office and at job sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Part of a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing the electric distribution system to ensure safety and reliability.
• Work on new service equipment start-ups, cogeneration, commissioning, and new service requests.
• Review and approve new installations, designs, and guide designers on building the system.
• Work with customers on new services and equipment requirements.
• Deal with outage and voltage concerns, discussing issues directly with customers and coming up with plans to resolve.
• Ensure equipment is being installed and operated safely.
• Meet with large customers to address concerns and system work.
• On-call responsibilities during major storms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Valid driver's license and meet the company's requirements for driving.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong analytical, project management, and team building skills.
