About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to perform engineering, electrical design, and interface with clients for U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command (MSC), U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), and other customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills, marine HM&E experience, and a strong understanding of U.S. Navy, MSC, and USCG ship systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a team to review and approve engineering and technical deliverables.
  • Perform Electrical Engineering analysis using a variety of engineering tools.
  • Quality Assurance of all engineering deliverables.
  • Client-facing interactions.
  • Develop drawings in AutoCAD.
  • Assist the Project Manager in business development and customer relations.
  • Expect 10% domestic and international travel.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of proven experience in electrical engineering with U.S. Navy, USCG, or MSC vessels.
  • Existing knowledge and understanding of industry practices and requirements.
  • Must be technology-focused with a good background using and implementing technology into business processes.
  • Proven history interfacing with clients.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • AutoCAD experience.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • BS/BE in Engineering.
  • U.S. Navy, USCG, or MSC Experience is a requirement.
  • Must be able to maintain or get a Secret level security clearance.
  • Internal Communications, Power & Light, or Combat Systems experience preferred.

Schedule & Location

Monday to Friday. Hybrid in Washington, DC 20003.
