Job Summary
Klingner is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join their multi-disciplinary team. Key responsibilities include leading and supporting the electrical design for a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from light commercial and institutional buildings to heavy industrial facilities, with a focus on water, wastewater, and water resources infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a robust technical background in power distribution, controls, and lighting, and be adaptable to work across different project types.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the electrical design for a diverse portfolio of projects
- Work on projects ranging from light commercial and institutional buildings to heavy industrial facilities
- Focus on water, wastewater, and water resources infrastructure
- Process a robust technical background in power distribution, controls, and lighting
- Adapt to work across different project types
Requirements
- Strong technical background in power distribution, controls, and lighting
- Experience in designing for heavy industrial applications
- Ability to recognize the importance of design accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards
- Experience with power distribution, controls, and lighting design
