Electrical Engineer

About the role

This is an Electrical Engineer GS-0850-12 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Southwestern Division, Tulsa District, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct tests and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to resolve complex engineering problems.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate project progress and findings.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Five years of progressively responsible professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Current registration as Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma.
• Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools.
• Understanding of power distribution systems and renewable energy technologies.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with project management tools like Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.

Pay

• $117,400 - $144,500 annually.
