About the role
This is an Electrical Engineer GS-0850-12 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Southwestern Division, Tulsa District, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to resolve complex engineering problems.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate project progress and findings.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Five years of progressively responsible professional experience in electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Current registration as Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma.
- Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools.
- Understanding of power distribution systems and renewable energy technologies.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with project management tools like Primavera P6.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.

Pay
- $117,400 - $144,500 annually.
