Electrical Engineer

About the role

This position is within the Operations department at Tiffin Motorhomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for RV floorplans from concept through production
• Ensure compliance with RVIA, NEC, ANSI, NFPA, and other applicable standards
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, sales, service, and vendors
• Participate in 3D model reviews to ensure designs are production-ready
• Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOMs) and support engineering change processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during pilot builds and production
• Drive continuous improvement and product innovation
• Support quality, safety, and accuracy across engineering and manufacturing

Requirements

• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office (SAP is a plus)
• 1+ year of electrical design experience (RV or related industry preferred)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, routing, and manufacturing processes
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and team mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience
