Responsibilities
- Lead the inspection, troubleshooting and repair process across multiple product lines, developing standard diagnostic and repair procedures
- Partner with manufacturing, quality and aftermarket teams to resolve issues in the field in an attempt to reduce repeat failures
- Serve as Test Engineering and Lab Lead, directing and growing the organization’s lab testing capabilities
- Establish and maintain testing procedures, equipment standards and more to support efficient and repeatable testing
- Provide electrical engineering support for current product improvements and new products in development
- Afford assistance in the design and development of new products
- Perform root cause analysis, investigation and fixes as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field required
- 3+ years of experience in mobile equipment, heavy machinery or automotive industry desired
- Experience with Li-ion batteries and chargers is strongly preferred, previous experience with battery-powered systems is required
- Familiarity with mobile equipment control solutions, specifically CAN-based systems, preferred
