About The Role
As a key player in our client's team, you will ensure the reliability of electrical systems and machine controls. Your efforts will directly contribute to the safety, efficiency, and performance of production assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Maintenance Technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex electrical issues.
- Lead and support equipment upgrade projects from investigation to commissioning.
- Develop knowledge of capital equipment to aid maintenance and improvements.
- Assist in equipment installation and training efforts.
- Promote electrical safety initiatives by applying industry standards.
- Contribute to preventative maintenance for electrical substations and switchgear.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive safety and quality improvements.
Qualifications
- Solid problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Understanding of electrical power distribution and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Experience with electrical testing equipment.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (preferred).
- Self-motivated with effective communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing or related technical environments.
- Training in Electrical Code and safety practices is preferred.
