Position: Electrical Engineer Location: Texas Duration: Long Term Job Overview We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong experience in electrical cabinet design, electro-mechanical control systems, and electrical engineering documentation. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electrical cabinets and control systems. Develop electrical schematics and documentation. Design control panel layouts and support 2D/3D integration. Generate wire numbers, reports, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Support electro-mechanical and HVAC control systems. Write electrical specifications and test plans. Execute and document electrical testing activities. Work with BMS communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus. Collaborate with mechanical and engineering teams. Support laboratory testing, instrumentation, and measurement activities. Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues. Use project management and engineering tools to support project execution. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience. 5+ years of electrical cabinet design experience. Experience with electro-mechanical control systems. Experience With HVAC Control Systems Is Preferred. Proficiency in at least one of: SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, or Revit. Experience with electrical schematic and control panel design. Knowledge of BOM generation and design automation. Familiarity with BACnet and Modbus protocols. Strong technical writing and documentation skills. Experience with electrical testing, instrumentation, and measurement. Microsoft Office and AutoCAD experience. UL508A MTR certification is preferred. MS degree or PEng certification is preferred. Experience with Jira or DevOps is a plus.
