Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine technical work in accordance with prescribed techniques and procedures.
• Information and data management related to projects and project management.
• Ensure project team members create deliverables that meet or exceed the customer’s expectations and standards.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to accommodate all project needs.
• Support business development efforts by building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for repeat work, and contributing to high levels of client satisfaction.
• Avoid the need for proposal development, scope definition, fee estimates, and presentations to help secure new projects and expand existing client partnerships.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications and progress reports.
• Communicate effectively in person and in writing to keep customers, contractors, and project team well informed of pertinent information in a timely manner.
• Foster an environment where new ideas are discussed and developed collaboratively.
• Mentor others through the profession of electrical engineering by providing opportunities to shape their skillset and career trajectories.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in an Electrical Engineering field.
• Certification: FE Registration required, PE preferred.
• Experience: Three years of experience in consulting engineering, food processing, wood processing, mining and metals processing or equivalent.
• Relevant experience could include: Power Distribution & Electrical Systems Design, Instrumentation & Controls, Electrical Analysis & Code Application, Adaptability, Initiative.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $115,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, and qualifications. This role is also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive U.S. based benefits package, including:
