Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement electrical systems for industrial manufacturing, energy, and renewable energy projects.
• Serve as a project lead and work under the guidance of senior engineering staff while independently performing electrical design tasks.
• Support project execution by coordinating with engineering, estimating, project management, fabrication, and construction teams.
• Aid in project estimates and electrical scope development.
• Contribute to successful project delivery from design through installation and startup by serving as the primary electrical engineering resource during these phases.
• Perform functional testing and checkout procedures on completed electrical systems.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, contractors, and fabrication personnel to ensure project quality, safety, and schedule requirements are met.
• Manage electrical contractors and fabrication resources to ensure project quality, safety, and schedule requirements are met.
• Travel domestically and internationally approximately 10-20% annually to support project installation, commissioning, and startup activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial manufacturing, energy, renewable energy, or similar industrial environments.
• Experience supporting the design of industrial power, controls, and automation systems.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and engineering design practices.
• Experience supporting installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment with multidisciplinary project coordination.
