The Electrical Engineer will design electrical power, lighting, and distribution systems for a variety of facility projects. They will perform engineering calculations, load studies, and technical analyses, prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates, coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies, support construction administration activities, resolve technical challenges, ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes and standards, and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Design electrical power, lighting, and distribution systems for a variety of facility projects.
- Perform engineering calculations, load studies, and technical analyses.
- Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Cook with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project lifecycles.
- Support construction administration activities, including site visits and design reviews.
- Resolve technical challenges and ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
- 3-5+ years of electrical engineering or electrical design experience.
- Experience designing power distribution, lighting, and electrical systems.
- PE license is highly preferred but not required.
Candidates without a PE license may be considered for a Senior Electrical Designer title.
Strong understanding of NEC and applicable electrical codes and standards.
Stable work history with demonstrated career progression.
Ability to travel occasionally (approximately once every 1-2 months).
Compensation
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 (3-5 years of experience) Entry-Level Compensation: Starting around $80,000 for new graduates Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Maternity Leave, Military Reserve Pay Offset
