Responsibilities
- Aid in designing and testing MIL-STD power and data cabling solutions using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom components.
- Contribute to the development of electrical system architecture, power budgets, grounding, and electromagnetic interference (EMI)/electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electro-optical engineers to integrate electrical solutions into compact designs.
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware and system-level issues under guidance.
- Document designs, test results, and quality assessments for cables and devices.
- Adhere to safe electrical practices and contribute to team problem-solving.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Must possess or be qualified to obtain a U.S. DoD Personnel Security Clearance.
Qualifications

- Experience with tools such as Altium Designer for PCB or harness design.

- Internship or project experience in PCB design or electrical systems.
- Familiarity with aerospace/military connectors and cable design practices (IPC/MIL-STD).
- Familiarity with programming languages (C, C++, Python).
- Understanding of compliance standards (UL, CE, IEC, RoHS).
- Exposure to fiber optic cable design for data transmission.

Pay
$100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.
