About the role
Join our innovative engineering team and play a critical role in advancing the next generation of the NeuroStar® system - helping deliver life-changing treatment to patients across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded control and power delivery systems for next-generation NeuroStar® products
- Drive innovation in low- and high-power pulsed circuit topologies
- Perform full lifecycle electrical design activities, including: System and circuit design, Simulation and schematic capture, Prototyping and bench testing, Generate design documentation in compliance with medical device regulations and internal SOPs
- Conduct testing, analyze results, and generate reports to ensure product performance and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with certified EMC testing labs and implement design improvements to meet standards
- Lead root cause investigations and drive improvements for existing products in the field
- Mentor junior engineers and elevate team standards through best practices and new technologies
- Partner cross-functionally with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Contribute to product definition by working closely with stakeholders to understand customer and market needs
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in product development
- Strong experience with: Circuit design (analog & digital), Simulation and design capture tools, Microcontrollers and firmware development, Power electronics (MOSFETs, IGBTs)
- Proven ability to work independently and manage complex projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities
Preferred Experience
- Six Sigma certification or experience with reliability testing methods
- Experience designing to IEC 60601-1 medical device safety standards
- Power supply design experience (SMPS, pulsed power, electronic ballasts)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Primarily desk-based work (50–75%) with hands-on testing and lab activities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Occasional travel within the United States

- Selected candidate will be eligible to participate in the Company’s employee benefit plans, which currently include: health insurance; dental insurance; vision insurance; optional supplemental medical insurance; health savings and flexible spending accounts; company-paid life insurance and additional voluntary life insurance; company-paid short term disability and long term disability insurance; participation in a 401(k) savings and investment plan with company contribution; and paid time off for non-exempt salaried employees is calculated as .625 per pay period worked for vacation time and .29166 per pay period for personal time.
- Full-time exempt employees will be eligible for Flex-PTO, which allows time off without accrual.
