Electrical Engineer
Your Purpose
The Electrical Engineer will oversee the planning, design and installation of machinery and equipment on the production floor. This includes testing and monitoring equipment, updating current system processes, creating standard operating procedures and safety protocols, and conducting risk assessments.
Essential Functions
- Develops specifications and performance requirements for production equipment.
- Calculates cost analysis for integrating new equipment into the manufacturing process.
- Uses programming knowledge and experience to adapt equipment to specific job applications.
- Works with Continuous Improvement Manager to prepare operating instructions and programs for equipment.
- Oversees installation of machinery and equipment to ensure they function according to specifications.
- Evaluates equipment to ensure it can complete desired functions.
- Analyzes alternative techniques and methods and recommends changes to equipment or procedures as needed.
- Establishes schedule of procedures and maintenance routines to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
- Shares technical information and training with other departments.

Physical Demands
- Continuous (6 or more hours per day) bending, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, reaching, lifting, and grasping.
- Continuous (6 or more hours per day) talking, listening, teaching, and repetitive motion, hand/wrist movement.
- Continuous (6 or more hours per day) standing and walking.
- Frequent (1 to 3 hours per day) work in a stooped position.
- Good eyesight, normal hearing.
- Ability to move and lift objects, frequently 50 lbs.
