Electrical Engineer
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in low voltage and medium voltage power distribution, motor controls, interfacing industrial processes to DCS and PLC systems, and power distribution system modeling software (ETAP or similar).
About the role
Candidates should have experience working in an industrial facility or at an architectural, engineering, and construction (A&E) firm. Leadership skills are essential, including coordinating engineering and design efforts, working within a team, and presenting to peers and clients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering and design efforts within a team
- Work with project managers and clients to develop proposal documents and estimates for bidding on work
- Focus on modifications and upgrades in existing facilities
- Conduct meetings to lead discussions with peers and clients
- Develop technical solutions for industrial and power generation projects
- Interfacing industrial processes to DCS and PLC systems
- Interface with power distribution system modeling software (ETAP or similar)
- Design panels and work in 3D environments
- Perform power system analysis (experience a plus)
Requirements
Experience in industrial facilities or A&E firms is required. Familiarity with panel design and 3D environments is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
