Responsibilities
- Own board bring-up, hardware validation, debugging, and system integration for mixed-signal PCB designs.
- Perform electrical testing using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and other lab equipment.
- Troubleshoot analog, digital, RF, and power-related hardware issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with FPGA, embedded firmware, software, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to integrate complete hardware platforms.
- Support prototype builds, hardware verification, and product validation.
- Assist with root-cause analysis of hardware failures and implement corrective actions.
- Review schematics, layouts, and PCB designs while providing recommendations for improvements.
- Develop test procedures and documentation for manufacturing and engineering validation.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute technical solutions across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Support product transition from prototype into manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3 to 7 years of professional electrical engineering experience.
- Strong experience with mixed-signal electronics.
- Experience bringing up and debugging custom PCB designs.
- Proficiency using common electrical laboratory equipment.
- Understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware at both the board and system level.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hardware development environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Preferred:
- Experience with FPGA-based systems.
- Experience working with embedded hardware and firmware teams.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital interfaces.
- Experience with RF, imaging, sensor, or signal processing systems.
- Experience supporting products from prototype through production.
- Startup experience is highly preferred.
