Responsibilities
- Manage integration projects for Krones involving its packaging machinery and other manufacturer’s equipment.
- Review customer specifications and work with customers, Mechanical Engineering, and vendors to define system requirements.
- Responsible for the electrical integration of machinery to the control system.
- Create and modify electrical schematics, electromechanical assemblies using 3D CAD, and parts lists.
- Create and modify PLC programs to meet system requirements.
- Provide engineering support for construction and testing of control assemblies.
- Afford assistance in verification and validation of the control system.
- Ensure project meets customer requirements and schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Three years of experience as a Controls Engineer.
Required Skills
- Three years of experience with electric control circuits, variable frequency drives, and PLC and HMI programming.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time (domestic and foreign).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with one or more of the following: Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Siemens S7, TIAB&R Automation, UL 508, ISO 13849 Safety Standards, TUV Certification.
