About the role

Solutions Sustainability is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Center Manager. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our data centers, ensuring they meet high standards of reliability, efficiency, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and optimization of data center infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and energy regulations
• Manage power distribution systems and cooling solutions
• Develop and implement strategies to improve data center efficiency and sustainability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data center management or related field
• Experience with data center infrastructure design and implementation
• Strong knowledge of energy-efficient technologies and practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks
• Experience with data center automation tools and software
• Knowledge of green building certifications such as LEED
• Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies
