Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, grounding, low-voltage systems, emergency power, and electrical infrastructure.
• Develop Revit-based construction documents, panel schedules, one-line diagrams, lighting layouts, specifications, and technical reports.
• Conduct electrical calculations including load, voltage drop, short circuit, arc flash, energy code compliance, and protective device coordination.
• Apply NEC, NFPA, and other industry standards for compliant system design.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and client reviews.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support QA/QC reviews, RFIs, site visits, and construction administration tasks.
• Lead project scopes and mentor junior staff (mid- and senior-level responsibilities).

Qualifications

• Mid-Level: Bachelor’s or master’s in Electrical Engineering. Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam passed; pursuing Professional Engineer (PE); 5+ years of experience.
• Senior: Bachelor’s or master’s in Electrical Engineering. Active Professional Engineer (PE) license; 10+ years of experience leading electrical design.
• Proficiency with Revit and electrical analysis software.
• Strong interdisciplinary coordination skills.
• Experience in aviation, civic, commercial, tribal, mission-critical, or federal work is valued.
