Responsibilities
- Manages and directs Asset Care Plan for area of responsibility
- Active communication of equipment status, Uptime, KPI’s, etc. to stakeholders
- Analyze equipment problems using engineering fundamentals and develop solutions
- Evaluate Equipment Data and develop action plans to correct
- Secure parts and equipment needed to support projects
- Mentor/coach entry-level engineers or other technical community members
- Manage contractors and vendors during work outages and projects
- Create and implement paperwork for CAPEX projects
- Initiate, lead, and participate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in CAPEX projects
- Provide technical guidance and support to craft employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Working knowledge of AUTOCAD, SAP, MS Project, and MS Suite
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing under specific area of discipline
- Willingness to learn and multi-task
- Effective communication (both written and verbal) with the ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences
- Effective time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- RCFA, Project Management, and/or Meeting Facilitation training preferred
- Craft, contractor, vendor supervision preferred
- Unionized work environment preferred
- Familiarity with applicable Safety regulatory guidelines (i.e. OSHA, MSHA, ANSI, NFPA)
