Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs Asset Care Plan for area of responsibility
• Active communication of equipment status, Uptime, KPI’s, etc. to stakeholders
• Analyze equipment problems using engineering fundamentals and develop solutions
• Evaluate Equipment Data and develop action plans to correct
• Secure parts and equipment needed to support projects
• Mentor/coach entry-level engineers or other technical community members
• Manage contractors and vendors during work outages and projects
• Create and implement paperwork for CAPEX projects
• Initiate, lead, and participate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in CAPEX projects
• Provide technical guidance and support to craft employees

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Working knowledge of AUTOCAD, SAP, MS Project, and MS Suite
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing under specific area of discipline
• Willingness to learn and multi-task
• Effective communication (both written and verbal) with the ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences
• Effective time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• RCFA, Project Management, and/or Meeting Facilitation training preferred
• Craft, contractor, vendor supervision preferred
• Unionized work environment preferred
• Familiarity with applicable Safety regulatory guidelines (i.e. OSHA, MSHA, ANSI, NFPA)
