Job Title: Electrical Engineer Job Location: Fall River, MA (Onsite) Job Schedule: 9/80 Regular (Every other Friday off) Duration: 12 months Max PR: $60/hr - $63/hr Note: Only local candidates; no relocation or sponsorship candidates. Job Description: This Electrical Engineer will be responsible for leading and guiding the development of complex electronics hardware and subassemblies for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). The position requires prior experience in digital and analog circuit design, CCA and subsystem integration, and system qualification and test. The position presents a tremendous opportunity for exposure and growth, involving communication with internal and external customers and stakeholders to explain and influence changes to practices, processes, and approaches. Essential Functions: Responsible for architecting, designing, developing, modifying, evaluating, and integrating electronic circuit cards, electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry. Creates Analog and Digital designs of circuit cards, including layout, using industry-standard tools such as LTSpice and Mentor Graphics. Analyzes electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Responsible for providing input to program bids and generating bases of estimate. Performs qualification and testing of electrical hardware and systems and troubleshooting. Experience with software communication and networking protocols, electrical schematics and wiring diagram layouts, and mechanical drawing understanding. Able to identify component operational characteristics that may impact system performance and/or sustainability.
