Electrical Engineer

About the role

As an Electrical Engineer at CDG Engineers, you will be a key player in developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. You will work independently and as part of a team to design and implement electrical systems for a variety of industries, including power utilities, renewable energy, and heavy industrial. This is a hybrid role based in our St. Louis, MO (HQ) office location.

Responsibilities

• Ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations.
• Acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems.
• Uncover root causes to difficult problems.
• Evaluate pros and cons, risks and benefits of different solution options.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years (minimum) of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in any core area of:
  • T&D Substation design
  • Renewable Energy - Solar, BESS, Electrification
  • Power Engineering with a focus on heavy industrial systems
  • System Relaying
• Working ability with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools preferred.
• Working knowledge of SKM, ETAP, or similar electrical modeling software preferred.
• Working knowledge of electric utility industry and environmental issues.

Qualifications

• PE license (preferred).
