About the role
Carolina Poly, Inc., located in Chester, SC, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. Carolina Poly produces high-quality plastic products such as trash bags and construction films. Responsibilities
- Manage new equipment installation.
- Support maintenance and production departments.
- Manage modifications to existing manufacturing equipment.
- Install, upgrade, modify, and work on various types of electrical systems, including three phase power distribution, 480V three phase motors with variable frequency drive configurations, AC/DC drives and motors, PLCs, analog and digital circuitry, servo systems operating with multiple axis, industrial equipment networks and protocols, and human machine interfaces.
- Document, recommend, and execute maintenance procedures, upgrade proposals based on a combination of industrial data analysis and troubleshooting results.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- AutoCAD skills with regards to electrical drawings.
- Minimum one year of experience performing troubleshooting or engineering in an industrial environment.

- Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and practices.
