Electrical Engineer

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Have a positive attitude and committed to continuous improvement and success of the organization
• Communicate effectively with manager & other maintenance associates on tasks performed
• Interact with engineers, production, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products
• Program PLCs and computers to make equipment safer, faster or more efficient
• Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical panels, equipment, and systems
• Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
• Research new engineering projects for payback and feasibility
• Create bills of material for projects
• Train maintenance technicians and department heads as necessary
• Use Auto Cad to create electrical and mechanical drawings
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contributes to team effort by achieving results
