Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

BlastOne is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design 480VAC power distribution systems, heavy-load feeders, and large-facility electrical layouts for industrial blasting and coating facilities. Responsibilities include specifying and designing electrical and controls systems, producing schematics, panel layouts, and detailed documentation in AutoCAD, ensuring designs meet relevant compliance requirements, collaborating with project teams, and providing technical support during installations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial or large-facility projects.

• Strong background in heavy power design (main feeders, distribution systems, and high-load equipment).

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore a plus.

• Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.

• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and related codes.

• Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
