Electrical Engineer

About the Role

ApolloTech MSI is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This full-time position is based at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, with optional hybrid work arrangements.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for defense and robotics applications. - Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, software developers, and systems engineers to deliver integrated solutions that meet stringent performance and environmental requirements. - Perform schematic design, oversee PCB layout, conduct circuit simulation, and conduct prototype testing. - Document designs and ensure compliance with relevant defense standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field; Master's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in defense, robotics, or related industries
• Proficiency in circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer or equivalent
• Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and power electronics
• Knowledge of signal integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, and environmental testing
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, or other relevant defense standards is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required due to security clearance requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
