About the role

The RoleAmphenol Military High Speed Operations is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

Responsibilities

• Develops product designs and/or test methods
• Performs or defines complex tests for evaluation of product, equipment or processes
• Works independently in planning and coordinating resources necessary to complete assignments
• Reviews and analyzes a variety of data to determine requirements for meeting engineering objectives
• Interacts independently with customers, vendors, and Amphenol personnel on significant design, process or evaluation issues
• Directs other employees
• Captures and supports other departments within the Company

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related engineering discipline or equivalent education and experience
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (Mentor Graphics PADS or equivalent)
• Background with fiber optic communication preferred
• Familiarity with C, C#, FPGA, or python software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
