About the role
An electrical engineer will design lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage control systems, conduct site investigations, ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards, monitor project status and budgets, prepare technical specifications, and support cross-discipline electrical design components.
Responsibilities
- Lighting design
- Low- and medium-voltage power and distribution design
- Low-voltage controls and system design
- Site investigations
- Adherence to NEC, IESNA, and other applicable electrical codes and standards
- Perform required electrical calculations
- Report on project status, progress, and budget
- Prepare project specifications and technical documentation
- Assist with electrical design components for multi-discipline projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- One year (12 months) of work experience in electrical engineering
- Experience in facilities electrical systems design
- Professional AutoCAD experience
- Knowledge of NEC and/or IESNA codes and standards
