Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities
- Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedule, and budget.
- Create scope of work, bid packages, and project specifications.
- Review technical drawings, provide feedback, and negotiate changes.
- Evaluate electrical power systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with third-party Safety Compliance Contractors.
- Evaluate power distribution, breaker sizes, amp draw, SCCR, and panel loading.
- Specify and confirm electrical components for industrial equipment.
- Collaborate with multiple groups to design and install equipment and meet project milestones.
- Supervise contractors in various work environments.
- Coincordinate installation with skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers, and equipment manufacturers.
- Develop countermeasures for project delays to ensure timely completion.
Requirements
- Mechanical engineering and design.
- Proficiency in CAD and AutoCAD.
- Experience in manufacturing processes and engineering.
- Project management skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment operations.
- Ability to read and modify technical drawings.
- Expertise in electrical controls and control systems.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical Trade Certification, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of project management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software.
- Experience in bid specification development and contractor negotiation.
- 2+ years of technical drawing experience.
- 2+ years in industrial power distribution/system design.
- Preferred experience with BSEE, Toyota project management, and automotive paint processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Understanding of PLC operation, programming, and communication.
- Knowledge of OT/IT networking.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70E/77 and OSHA 10/30 regulations.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Georgetown, KY.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
