Responsibilities
- Product design, development, and implementation.
- Electrical hardware design involving mixed-signal designs, power supply designs, processor-based designs, and cable designs.
- Identify low-cost alternatives to off-the-shelf parts such as monitors, printers, card readers, and scanners.
- Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
- Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Root Cause Analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 5–10 years of experience in product design, development, and implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability, FMEA, DOE, and Root Cause Analysis.
