Electrical Discipline Specialist

About the role

Benchmark Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Discipline Specialist to join our Project Team of Choice. Ideal candidates are creative problem solvers with strong communication skills, who can work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Management and Design Staff
• Collaborate with designers to translate concepts into full sets of construction documents for commercial building projects
• Design and develop construction documents using REVIT for various project types
• Lead quality assurance efforts for the team
• May require minimal travel

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in A/E field, specializing in Electrical discipline with a focus on commercial/facility design
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university
• Show proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit platforms
• Have thorough knowledge of required codes such as the NEC
• Hold specialized certifications in discipline-related systems (e.g., ADA, LEED)
• Be licensed as a Professional with a good standing
