Electrical Designer III

Responsibilities

• Develops models and drawings including conceptual designs, parametric modeling and new technologies using software.
• Utilizes programming to automatically generate Bill of Materials and electrical schematics.
• Reviews schematics for designs and makes design recommendations.
• Collaborates with other designers and engineers to ensure that the electrical systems integrate seamlessly with other systems.
• Collaborates with engineers, management, and other creative departments to determine design solutions.
• Supports production team during prototypes and production launch to facilitate seamless releases.
• Facilitates communication with manufacturing teams on issues related to design and production.
• Seeks ways to implement new ideas and technologies.
• Maintains and builds professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, or participating in professional societies.

Requirements

• A two-year technical degree is preferred, along with 3-5 years’ experience in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
• Eplan ECE certification, but not required.
