Electrical Designer - Crane Controls

Responsibilities
- Create control-panel schematics and wiring diagrams in SolidWorks Electrical from senior engineer concepts and design guidelines.
- Develop and release bills of materials; generate and place component orders.
- Apply NEC, NFPA 79, and UL 508A guidelines to panel and schematic design.
- Support our in-house, UL-listed panel shop with design-related inquiries.
- Work with cabinet shop on projects and potential growth into coordination of work as crane volumes scale.
Qualifications
- Electrical design or drafting experience in industrial controls or control panels.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical (or comparable ECAD such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN).
- Ability to read and produce control schematics independently.
- Working familiarity with NEC and UL 508A panel-design standards.
- Detail-oriented and methodical, with strong accuracy in BOMs and component procurement.
